Khabarovsk’s giant Christmas tree takes shape despite freezing cold
Khabarovsk has started its annual New Year holiday preparations, with the city’s main Christmas tree now standing on Lenin Square. Despite freezing temperatures, workers have begun decorating the news tree, though the process remains in its early stages. The tree’s framework has been fully assembled, but crews are still attaching its 1,500 fir branches to shape its festive appearance. Once fully decorated, the tree will become the centrepiece of Khabarovsk’s New Year festivities.
