Khabarovsk's Bus Route No.26 to End in July 2026

Khabarovsk residents are witnessing changes in their public transport. The 'Khabarovsk Krai Today' news agency reports that bus route No.26, connecting the city center to Topolevo, will be discontinued in July 2026. Meanwhile, Topolevo residents can still use route No.155, and Nikolaevsk-on-Amur is set to receive a new bus for passenger transportation.

The discontinuation of route No.26 is due to the expiration of the carriers' permits. Currently, three carriers operate the route: IP Gavrilov, IP Lasuk, and LLC 'Dalevoostochnaya Avtotekhnicheskaya Expertiza'. The municipality can only organize routes within the city, and since Topolevo lies outside these boundaries, the route's continuation is uncertain.

In positive news, eight new buses will be introduced on urban routes in Khabarovsk, as per Federal Law No.131. Additionally, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur will benefit from a new bus for passenger transportation, enhancing mobility in the region.

While the discontinuation of route No.26 may impact some residents, Topolevo residents can still rely on route No.155. The introduction of new buses in Khabarovsk and the addition of a new bus in Nikolaevsk-on-Amur aim to improve public transport services in the region.
