Khabarovsk & Tula Theatres Celebrate Unity with Successful Exchange Tours
The Khabarovsk Regional Drama Theatre and the Tula Academic Drama Theatre named after M. Gorьky have successfully concluded their exchange tours. The tours, organized by ROSKONZERT, commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
The Tula theatre presented a variety of plays during its tour in Khabarovsk. These included 'So It Will Be', 'My Poor Marat', 'Heart of a Dog', and 'Red Kalina'. The actors, though not publicly named, were from the main cast of the troupe and brought their best productions. Meanwhile, the Khabarovsk theatre showcased four plays based on classical works in Tula.
The exchange was more than just a cultural event; it was a reunion of sorts. Nikolai Yevseenko, director and artistic director of the Khabarovsk theatre, described it as a meeting of old friends. Art, he noted, has the power to bring people together.
The exchange tours have ended, leaving behind a rich cultural experience. Both theatres shared their finest works, fostering a bond between the cities of Khabarovsk and Tula. The tours served as a poignant reminder of the shared history and unity celebrated during the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
