Khabarovsk City Centre Shutdown on September 20 for Athletic Event

On the 20th of September, Khabarovsk will be bustling with excitement as two significant events take place. The 78th annual national cross-country running event, 'Cross of the Nations 2025,' dedicated to Victory Day, and the 'Far East - Wild Wonder' tourism festival will captivate the city.

The running event will commence at Lenin Square at 12:20, with participants running through the city's streets and concluding at the central square. To accommodate this event, traffic restrictions will be implemented on several roads from 10:45 to 14:30. These include Karl Marx Street, Pushkin Street, Lenin Street, and Leningradskaya Street. More detailed information about the public transport route changes can be found here.

Meanwhile, Komsomolskaya Square will serve as the city's gastronomic center during the festival, hosting master classes by top chefs, blintz-making competitions, local brand showcases, lectures, and documentary film screenings. The main artist of the festival, SEVAK, will perform on Komsomolskaya Square on the 20th of September.

The business part of the forum will focus on discussions about the development of tourism in the Khabarovsk region and other Far Eastern regions. A unique opportunity will be given to youth, who can become real developers of new tourist routes during the festival.

The 'Far East - Wild Wonder' festival is part of the national project 'Tourism and Hospitality,' initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The festival will take place from the 19th to the 21st of September. Parking will be prohibited on certain sections from 6:00 to 15:00 during these days.

Residents and guests of Khabarovsk are invited to climb the bell tower and listen to SEVAK on the weekend of the 20th of September. This promises to be an unforgettable experience, combining the thrill of the running event with the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.
