Turin's Kevric Emerges Victorious in Multiple Event Pre-Qualifier at European Championships - Kevric Turner secures victory in the qualifier round of the championship, orchestrating a thrilling multi-match revival.

Fitting a Comeback: Turner Kevric's Victory in Leipzig's Qualifier

17-year-old Turner Kevric, from the lively city of Stuttgart, stole the show at Leipzig's multi-discipline qualifier for female gymnasts, clinching the second spot in the home European Championships. With a whopping score of 55.100 points in the all-around competition, she swept the floor, vault, uneven bars, and balance beam with a grace that's hard to ignore. Her record-breaking performance on the uneven bars, 14.400 points, took the spotlight of the day.

In the first qualifying round, two weeks previous in Mannheim, Kevric, an eighth-ranked gymnast in the all-around at the 2024 Paris Olympics, only made her presence known on a couple of apparatuses. Mannheim's local hero, Silja Stoehr, seized the win with a score of 52.75, surpassing Karina Schoenmaier's (52.40) and Lea Quaas's (52.00) scores from Chemnitz. However, during the Berlin event, the story took a twist: Stoehr finished fifth (50.500), while Schoenmaier (52.450) and Quaas (52.150) clenched second and third place respectively.

Prepare for the thrill, as the German Gymnastics Federation plans to announce the team for the EM in Leipzig on Monday, followed by the men's team selection two days later.
