Kerry Washington, Greg Berlanti, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Prepare for an Unusual Dialogue Session

On October 6, the social impact agency Propper Daley BPI is organising a one-day summit titled "A Day of Unreasonable Conversation" at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. The event aims to create a space for imagination and to spark narratives that can move society forward.

The summit, presented by Imaginable Futures in partnership with Omidyar Network, Stand Together, and Imagine Entertainment, among others, brings together more than 500 leading television creators and 150 top digital storytellers. The goal is for everyone to walk out with a new lens on the issues they thought they already understood.

The event is co-chaired by Kerry Washington, Pilar Savone, Greg Berlanti, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Greg Propper, president of Propper Daley BPI and founder of A Day of Unreasonable Conversation, will help shape the day's program. Comedian Atsuko Okatsuka will serve as emcee.

The discussions during the event will focus on policy, advocacy, and philanthropy. The event's partners, including Invisible Hand, New America, Carnegie Corporation of New York, Knight Foundation, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Elevate Prize Foundation, and others, aim to influence onscreen stories by challenging beliefs and expanding perspectives.

The closing reception is hosted by Best Buy and the UTA Foundation. Participants in the event include Simpson Street's Kerry Washington, Hasan Piker, Jay Shetty, Phil Rosenthal, Eddie Huang, Terry Crews, Mara Brock-Akil, Kumail Nanjiani, Oscar Nuñez, Sara Gilbert, Jake Shane, former Congressman Adam Kinzinger, Vic Blends, Todd Rose, Nabela Noor, Dhar Mann, and Ruby Ibarra.
