Kenya Police Advance to CAF Champions League Second Round Despite Loss

In a dramatic turn of events, Kenya Police have secured a place in the second round of the CAF Champions League despite suffering a 2-0 defeat to Mogadishu City in the second leg. The aggregate score remained tied at 3-3, with Kenya Police's earlier 3-1 victory proving crucial.

The match in Mogadishu saw the home team score in the 33rd and 55th minutes, leading 2-0. However, this was not enough to overturn Kenya Police's first leg advantage. Kenya Police's coach, Etienne Ndayiragije, acknowledged his team's poor performance, attributing it to complacency and subpar football.

In the next round, Kenya Police will face either Al Hilal or Jamus from Juba, with the opponents set to be determined by their own second leg match.

Despite the loss, Kenya Police progresses to the second round of the CAF Champions League, thanks to their first leg victory. They will now prepare to face either Al Hilal or Jamus, with the identity of their next opponents to be confirmed soon.
