The match in Mogadishu saw the home team score in the 33rd and 55th minutes, leading 2-0. However, this was not enough to overturn Kenya Police's first leg advantage. Kenya Police's coach, Etienne Ndayiragije, acknowledged his team's poor performance, attributing it to complacency and subpar football.
In the next round, Kenya Police will face either Al Hilal or Jamus from Juba, with the opponents set to be determined by their own second leg match.
