Kennywood Park battles for top US theme park and roller coaster titles
Kennywood Park has received two nominations in USA Today's 10Best poll. The historic amusement park is competing for best theme park and best roller coaster in the US. Voting remains open until Monday, April 20.
The park's Phantom's Revenge roller coaster is up against other top rides in the country. Fans can cast their votes online, with one ballot allowed per person each day. The same voting rules apply for the best theme park category.
Kennywood stands out for its long history, classic rides, and unique dark attractions. A total of 20 parks, including Kennywood, were shortlisted for best attraction in the poll.
Voting closes on April 20 for both categories. The results will determine whether Kennywood wins recognition for its roller coaster or overall park experience. Supporters have until then to back their favourite in the daily online poll.
