Kennedy Jr. delighted by recent enhancements in the White House's interior design
The White House, a symbol of American democracy, has undergone a significant makeover under the guidance of U.S. President Donald Trump. This transformation has caught the attention of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently expressed his delight with the new look of the iconic building.
During a joint appearance with President Trump in Washington, Kennedy Jr., U.S. Health Minister, shared his positive sentiments about the changes. He believes that beauty in public buildings, like the White House, symbolizes democracy and represents the human spirit through creative freedoms.
Kennedy Jr., who has known the White House for 65 years, noted that the Oval Office has never looked better. Gone are the relics from the Kennedy era, replaced by opulent gold decorations and new pictures that dominate the room. The Oval Office, once described as drab in old photographs, now exudes a vibrant and striking aesthetic.
The transformation of the White House's exterior is also evident, with the installation of two new flagpoles flying large U.S. flags outside the building.
However, not everyone is pleased with the changes. An ivy plant, said to be a gift from the Irish ambassador to the Democrats, has been removed from the Oval Office fireplace mantel.
The Rose Garden, landscaped in the early 1960s during the Kennedy administration, has also seen changes. Reports suggest that U.S. President Trump plans to pave over the grassy area in the middle of the Rose Garden, a move that has sparked controversy.
Despite the controversies, Kennedy Jr. remains optimistic about the changes. He believes that the White House looks exceptional today and that the transformation is a testament to the creative freedoms and the vibrant spirit of America.
