Kempen's Spring Festival 2026 brings fashion, fun and live music to Old Town
Kempen's Old Town will host its annual Spring Festival from April 10 to 12, 2026. The Butter Market transforms into a lively centre for fashion, product displays, and family fun. Visitors can expect a weekend packed with entertainment, shopping, and live performances. The festival begins on Friday evening with DJ Kossimo (Jörn Kossizin) playing from 7 to 11 PM. On Saturday, market stalls open alongside fashion and product shows at 12 PM and 3 PM. The day continues with evening entertainment from DJ Dani L. (Daniel Lohmöller), lasting until 11 PM.
Families will find plenty to enjoy, including table football, a trampoline, and a bouncy castle. A carousel, face painting, and a visit from the Easter Bunny add to the fun. Food and drink options will be available from nearby restaurants and market vendors. Sunday features another round of fashion and product shows at 12 PM and 3 PM. Shops will extend their hours from 1 to 6 PM, giving visitors extra time to browse and buy. The Butter Market stage will highlight the latest trends in fashion and lifestyle throughout the weekend. Similar spring festivals take place across Nordrhein-Westfalen, with cities like Düsseldorf, Köln, Münster, and Aachen hosting their own events in historic town centres.
