Kelly Clarkson has been enjoying a winter outing with her children at New York’s Rockefeller Center. The family was spotted ice skating together, dressed warmly in puffy coats, knit hats and gloves. The trip comes months after the singer postponed her Las Vegas residency due to her ex-husband’s illness.
Earlier this year, Clarkson delayed her scheduled August performances in Las Vegas. The decision followed the long battle of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, who had been fighting cancer for over three years. Blackstock passed away in 2024 at the age of 48.
Despite the difficult year, Clarkson has continued her career commitments. She recently extended her residency at Caesars Palace, with shows now booked through November 2025 and additional dates planned for 2026.
Over the weekend, the singer took time away from work to focus on family. She joined her children, River Rose and Remington, for a day of ice skating in New York. Photos from the outing show the trio bundled up in winter gear, smiling as they glided across the rink.
Clarkson’s Las Vegas residency remains on hold for now, but her extended contract ensures future performances in the city.
