Kelheim District Boosts Road Safety With Training and Measures

The Kelheim district traffic safety association has been actively promoting road safety in the region. They have recently trained school crossing guards, installed warning tape at schools and kindergartens, and conducted various safety courses for children of different ages.

The association began the dark season by handing out safety checks to first-graders in cooperation with AOK. This initiative aimed to ensure that young students were well-equipped to navigate roads safely during the darker hours.

Earlier, the association conducted blind spot training at elementary schools. This training focused on teaching children about the blind spots of vehicles and how to avoid them, a crucial skill for their safety.

The association also conducted road safety training for preschoolers. This early education helps instil safe road habits in children from a young age.

In addition, the association trained school crossing guards. These guards play a vital role in ensuring the safety of children as they cross roads on their way to and from school.

The Kelheim district traffic safety association's efforts have significantly contributed to enhancing road safety in the region. Their training programs and safety measures have helped create a safer environment for children, especially during the darker season.
