Kazakhstan's female athletes win medals across weight classes at Turkiye Open 2026

Antalya is hosting the major international taekwondo tournament Turkiye Open 2026 this week. Kazakhstan's women's team has claimed five medals, according to reports.

Aidana Kumartayeva took silver in the under-46kg category.

Nodira Akhmedova (under 53kg), Aidana Sundetbayeva (under 53kg), Maria Sevostyanova (under 57kg), and Nazym Makhmutova (under 73kg) each earned bronze.

The men's competitions will conclude the tournament on the final day, the National Olympic Committee announced.
