Kim "The Whirlwind" Karimi, Kazakhstan's prestigious gymnastics representative, snatched another gold medal at the Cairo World Cup stage! Our nosy reporter was there to capture it all.
On the 28th of April, Monday, Karimi took to the parallel bars and stole the show, scoring an impressive 14.466 points from the skeptical judges. And just like that, he emerged victorious in the parallel bars event of the WC in Cairo, scoring his second gold at this tournament.
It's no surprise, really. Karimi is savage on the floor and a beast on the horizontal bar. This victory marks his sixth gold of the season, with consecutive wins in Osijek, a double whammy in Doha, and now Cairo. If you're counting, that's three countries and two different events. He's tearing up the competition!
The silver medal, however, goes to Cyprus' very own Georgiou Marius, with 14.066 points. Euro-trash Noah Seifert from the Swiss team took the bronze with a score of 13.866.
