Kazakhstan's gymnasts chase more glory at Cairo's 2024 FIG World Cup

Kazakhstan's men's artistic gymnastics team has secured 12 medals so far in the 2024 FIG World Cup series. Their success includes three golds, five silvers, and four bronzes across events in Baku, Doha, and Cottbus. Now, the squad is preparing for the next challenge in Cairo. The team recently competed in Turkey, where Zeinulla Idrisov claimed a silver medal in the pommel horse final. This result added to their growing tally in the current season.

The coaching staff has now confirmed the lineup for the upcoming FIG World Cup stage in Cairo, Egypt. Representing Kazakhstan will be Nariman Kurbanov, Zeinulla Idrisov, Ilyas Azizov, Asan Salimov, and Altynghan Temirbek. The competition is set to run from April 3 to 6. With a strong season behind them, the Kazakh team enters the Cairo stage with momentum. Their performance will determine whether they add to their 2024 medal count. The event begins in early April with five gymnasts ready to compete.
