Kazakhstan's cyclists shine with four medals at Asian Championships

Kazakhstan's national team had previously secured three medals at the competition.

Alisher Zhumakan, a member of Kazakhstan's track cycling team, has won another medal for his country at the Asian Championships in Taigatae, our website reports, citing the National Olympic Committee (NOC).

The Kazakh cyclist claimed silver in the scratch race, finishing second behind China's Haijiao Sun, while Tsun Wai Chu of Hong Kong took bronze.

The NOC noted that Kazakhstan's team had already earned three medals earlier in the tournament.

Zhumakan also finished second in the points race. Ramis Dinmukhamedov and Ilya Karabutov won silver in the madison, while Rinata Sultanova took bronze in the women's individual pursuit.
