Let's dive into some good news brewing in Kazakhstan! The Special State Fund is stepping up its game, investing recovered illegal assets into crucial infrastructure projects to transform the lives of its citizens.

Recently, the fund has focused on revamping water supply systems in Kosshy and Makinsk, two cities in the Akmola Region. In Kosshy, about $926,500 will be allocated to complete the water supply system, aiming to offer 100% centralized water access for over 50,000 residents, with a potential population surge to 150,000 by 2038. Makinsk, on the other hand, will see $1.1 million invested to finish water supply infrastructure, benefiting over 18,000 residents.

Meanwhile, we have a new beat to dance to – a time capsule ceremony marked the beginning of construction for a brand-new music school of arts in the village of Temirlan, Ordabasy District, Turkistan Region. This project is one of many social initiatives approved by the government, as part of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's directive to utilize returned capital for the welfare of citizens.

The previous music school in Temirlan, built back in 1974, has seen better days. But fear not – the new school, valued at $1.7 million, is on its way! This impressive facility will accommodate 300 music enthusiasts from Temirlan and neighboring villages.

The government has pulled out all the stops when it comes to leveraging the recovered illegal assets. To date, Kazakhstan has recovered a whopping $1.1 billion in cash and $200.1 million in property, with plans to allocate these funds to 280 social infrastructure projects. In other words, we're talking about modernizing education, healthcare, sports, and public utilities, including water supply systems and other municipal infrastructure upgrades.

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as the Special State Fund continues its mission to create a more prosperous and happier Kazakhstan!

Astana, the capital city, will likely benefit from the new wave of investments due to its status as a central hub. With the recovered funds being allocated to various social and public utility projects, it's possible that Astana may soon see utilities upgrades or new sports facilities.

The students in Temirlan, who are eagerly awaiting their new music school, might one day enjoy watching sports events in a renovated stadium, considering the government's efforts to modernize sports infrastructure.

As the construction of the music school in Temirlan shows, the utilization of recovered assets is not limited to water supply systems and public utilities – it includes social projects as well, potentially attracting a million more sports enthusiasts to astana's vibrant scene.
