Kazakhstan braces for a spell of unsettled weather, with strong winds and mixed precipitation set to impact several regions overnight and during the day.

In the Ulytau Region, winds will switch from southwesterly to northwesterly, bringing gusts of up to 20 m/s. Expect light rain and snow during the day in the east, with freezing rain and blowing snow overnight. The west and central areas will see light precipitation overnight, while the east faces mixed rain and snow.

The Kostanay Region will experience fog in the west, north, and east. Daytime brings mixed precipitation, blowing snow, and icy conditions. Overnight, light snow, blowing snow, and freezing rain are forecast. Winds will shift from northwesterly to southwesterly with gusts of up to 20 m/s.

The Karaganda Region anticipates overnight mixed rain and snow, freezing rain, and blowing snow. During the day, rain and snow, along with icy conditions and blowing snow, are expected in the north, east, and south.
