In the bustling town of Samokov, Bulgaria, the Under-20 World Wrestling Championships took place, and one athlete from Kazakhstan made a significant mark.

According to a report by Liter.kz, the victory of Anna Stratan in the 57 kg weight category was based on information provided by the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Kazakhstan.

Stratan, a member of the Kazakhstan women's wrestling team, faced tough competition in the semifinals against Amari Miller. However, her determination and skill shone through, leading her to a hard-fought victory. The final bout against Tindra Dalmir of Sweden was no exception, with Stratan proving her strength and securing a win with a score of 9:1.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Stratan's career, adding a bronze medal to her list of accolades from the U20 World Championships.

It's not just Stratan who's making waves in the wrestling world. Elmira Syzdykova, another member of the Kazakhstan women's wrestling team, won a silver medal at a women's wrestling tournament in Poland.

The success of these athletes is not just a result of their individual efforts. They train alongside professional wrestlers and even mentor younger athletes in Konayev, fostering a culture of excellence and perseverance.

While another Kazakhstani athlete won bronze at the U17 World Championships, they have not been identified in this article.

The U20 World Championships serve as a stepping stone for young athletes like Stratan, providing them with invaluable experience and exposure. As she continues to grow and develop, we can expect to see more impressive performances from her in the future.
