Kazakhstan is preparing for a mix of weather conditions over the next few days, with a northern cyclone trough bringing rain and snow showers, along with icy roads. Meanwhile, temperatures are set to rise in the south and west, while the north experiences a cold snap.

Starting October 3rd, northern regions will face snow showers and slippery roads due to the formation of a northern low-pressure system. Temperatures here will drop to -7°C to 3°C at night, with daytime highs around 3-13°C. The west will enjoy clear weather, but with strengthening winds and fog expected. Night temperatures will gradually rise to 2-13°C, while daytime temperatures could reach 20-25°C.

The south will see a gradual rise in night temperatures, reaching 2-10°C, with daytime highs up to 15-25°C. In the northwest, night temperatures will be 1-9°C below zero, but daytime temperatures will rise to 5-20°C. The center will experience a drop in night temperatures to -8°C to 2°C, with daytime temperatures around 5-18°C. Strong rain is expected in the east and southeast on October 2nd and 3rd.

October is starting cold in Kazakhstan, but Indian summer is expected by mid-month. Warm days are forecast for the west, south, and center, with temperatures rising in the north and east.
