Kazakh village thrives after banning alcohol for three years

Yenbek village in Kazakhstan’s Tulkubas District has gone three years without alcohol. Home to over a thousand people, the community has seen a sharp drop in crime since banning drinks. What began as a local initiative has now become a model for the region.
