Kazakh Sons Spark Ticket Storm: 'Kairat' vs 'Real Madrid'
A social media storm erupted after accusations that the sons of prominent Kazakhs were reselling tickets for the 'Kairat' vs 'Real Madrid' match. Olzhas Espanov and Adilet Maiygaziev found themselves at the centre of the Ticketmaster controversy.
Olzhas Espanov, son of Kazakh singer Nurlan Espanov, claimed the ticket-selling posts were a prank and not his own Ticketmaster tickets. He stated he was asked to post them by a friend and did not profit from the situation. Nurlan Espanov echoed this, suggesting if Olzhas had Ticketmaster tickets, he would have attended the game or given them away, not sold them.
Meanwhile, Adilet Maiygaziev, son of Saken Maiygaziev, clarified that the tickets were invitations, not official Ticketmaster sale tickets. He also confirmed he posted a friend's request to sell tickets but did not sell any Ticketmaster tickets himself. However, Saken Maiygaziev has not yet commented on the Ticketmaster situation.
Some Kazakhstanis with Ticketmaster tickets were unable to enter the match due to stress and disappointment, fueling the social media backlash. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Sanjar Adilov has stated that law enforcement is ready to investigate the Ticketmaster situation if complaints are received.
The Ticketmaster controversy surrounding the 'Kairat' vs 'Real Madrid' match has sparked public outrage. While Olzhas Espanov and Adilet Maiygaziev have spoken out, the Ticketmaster situation remains unclear. Law enforcement stands ready to investigate if Ticketmaster complaints are filed.
