Kathy Griffin Discloses Her Third Facelift, Citing a Musician as Her Motivation
In a candid video shared with her fans, comedian Kathy Griffin opened up about her third facelift, performed by renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei. Griffin, who is 64 years old, discussed the painful surgical recovery process and the noticeable results she experienced.
Dr. Talei, a double board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in facial aesthetics, is recognized for his expertise in advanced facial surgeries. He has been praised by celebrities such as Sia, who gave him an award, for his cosmetic surgery skills. In Griffin's case, Dr. Talei achieved a natural, long-lasting, and individualized result.
Griffin revealed that the facelift procedure involved stitches in her eyelids and the temporary use of drains, which come out of the chin during the initial recovery period. She also made a humorous comment about the procedure, saying, "as far as I know, they just yank the crap out of your skin and your neck."
The video, titled "New Face, Same Kathy!", has received praise from many commenters for Griffin's transparency. Her comments come at a time when other celebrities, such as Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, and Joel McHale, have also shared details about cosmetic procedures they've undergone.
Interestingly, McHale also recently discussed his fourth hair transplant on the "We Might Be Drunk" podcast. Meanwhile, a video showing Sia without her backwards wig, which Griffin referenced, is available online.
