Kate MIA at Ascot: Princess Kate Skips Horse Racing Event, Prince William Rides Solo
Princess Kate withdraws from the horse race in Ascot - Kate Middleton, the Princess, decides to skip the Ascot race this time.
Wanna know what's up with Princess Kate? She's pulled a no-show at the Ascot horse racing event in England, ditching her public appearance, according to the British news agency PA. Apparently, she's still keeping things balanced, a year after her cancer treatment.
Kate spilled the beans about her cancer battle more than a year ago, following surgery in her tummy area. She went through chemo, but we don't have the tea on her exact diagnosis from the royal palace.
No Royal Wifey for Ascot: William Attends Without Kate
Kate is bustin' with disappointment that she ain't attendin' the notable social and sportin' event alongside her man, Prince William, and the rest of the royal crew, reports PA. Folks who went to the horse racing huddle were hopin' to catch a glimpse of her today, but Kingdom William instead hit the trails in a carriage with his old man, King Charles III, and his stepmom, Queen Camilla. Kate's mom, Carole Middleton, was there too.
Since her diagnosis, Kate took a break from the public eye, but she's been back in the game. In January, she declared she was in the clear.
Just this weekend, she was spotted hangin' with her kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, at the Trooping the Colour parade. On Monday, she was at a ceremony of the Order of the Garter in Windsor.
King Charles, Kate's father-in-law, also fessed up to his cancer fight earlier this year, keepin' the details under wraps, just like his son-in-law. Charles and his queen, Camilla, already paid a visit to the Ascot horse racing event this year. The swanky horse race goes down this year from June 17 to 21.

Fun Fact:
King Charles and Queen Camilla have been killin' it at Royal Ascot the past few days, makin' appearances in a classic horse-drawn carriage. This is their fifth consecutive day at the prestigious event, with King Charles showin' off his charming self to the crowd during the historic Royal Procession, which celebrated its 200th anniversary this year[1]. Meanwhile, Prince William's been slayin' it alone at the Ascot races after his princess, Kate, abruptly cancelled her attendance at the last minute[3][4].
