Get a Load of This Weird Shit: Keita Takahashi's Latest Game, To a T

"Katamari Damacy creator expresses a mix of emotion, finding it heartwarmingly idiotic, in anticipation for players to witness the finale of his upcoming game."

Join the fun with Keita Takahashi's upcoming game, To a T, debuting on May 28, 2025 - available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. That's right, the wacky creator of Katamari Damacy brings you a game about a teen who's stuck in a T-pose, because who doesn't love some good ol' stupidity in gaming, right?

In To a T, you'll help Teen navigate life with those immovable outstretched arms. Keita, himself, described it as a scene where Teen brushes their teeth, claiming, "It's so stupid. No smart game design, game mechanic, nothing, nothing. Just press a button and then spit the water. That's it. I like that."

Keita admits that while he generally prioritizes interactivity in his games, To a T is all about generating joy, making people laugh, and bringing a smile to their faces. He can't wait for players to experience the game's final moment, which he considers touching, yet stupid.

There's also a robot in the game, by the way.

To a T will drop on multiple platforms: Steam, Xbox, and PS5. If you can't get the song from the latest trailer, Cooking is so ah-mazing..., out of your head, you're not alone.

If you're a Katamari Damacy nostalgic, give Reroll, the second game in the series, a shot. It's currently on sale on Steam for $10. The original game is there too, but it might be worth waiting for the Steam Summer Sale, where it drops to $7.49[1].
