Kartik Aaryan's representatives confirm that he is not participating in any function organized by a Pakistani party.
Kartik Aaryan Distances Himself from Independence Day Event in Houston
Contrary to earlier rumours and warnings from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), Kartik Aaryan will not be attending the Independence Day event in Houston on August 15, 2025, organized by a Pakistani-owned restaurant.
The actor's team has officially clarified that he is not associated with the event in any capacity and has never announced his participation. They have also requested the organizers to remove all promotional materials featuring his name and image.
The FWICE had issued a warning to Kartik, urging him not to attend the event due to its Pakistani ownership. They cited their directive against professional ties with Pakistani artists or organizers post-Pulwama terror attack. However, Kartik's team denied any involvement and emphasized that the actor has no connection with the event hosted by Aga's Restaurant and Catering, owned by Pakistani-origin businessman Shaukat Maredia.
Meanwhile, the Dubai concert, which features Pakistani artists Ustad Ghulam Ali and Aamir Ghulam Ali, is not being organized by a Pakistani-owned restaurant. The Dubai concert is also not titled "Azadi Utsav - The Indian Independence Day."
As for Javed Ali, there's no statement from him or his team regarding the concert on August 31, 2025, in Dubai.
