Karishma Tanna, a well-known actress and fitness enthusiast, recently shared a video on Instagram, offering a peek at dishes for a shoot. In the video, she can be seen making protein and fiber-rich ladoos that are suitable for a morning pre-workout snack or evening hunger pangs.

These ladoos are made with a combination of oats, makhana (fox nuts), jaggery, roasted cashews and almonds, raisins, and cardamom powder. For an extra boost of nutrition, flaxseeds can be added.

To make these ladoos, first, dry roast makhana and oats on a low flame until crisp, then semi-grind them to a coarse texture. Next, semi-grind the roasted cashews and almonds (add flaxseeds if desired). Heat a teaspoon of ghee, then mix in the ground nuts. In a pan, melt the jaggery carefully.

Add the semi-ground makhana, oats, nuts, raisins, and cardamom powder to the melted jaggery and mix everything thoroughly. Quickly shape the warm mixture into round ladoos before it cools and hardens. Store for some time before eating.

These ladoos are ideal as a morning pre-workout snack or an evening hunger-buster, providing a good mix of protein and fiber while being naturally sweetened with jaggery. Karishma Tanna shares that this recipe is from her mother-in-law and emphasizes it as a healthy, delicious option for fitness-conscious individuals.
