But this time, it wasn't a marathon conversation - it was over in less than four minutes. After a spat about social media follower counts, Kanye stormed off, leaving his friend Sneako to wrap up the interview.
Piers, no stranger to stirring the pot, had underestimated Kanye's fanbase on platform X, stating it as 32 million instead of 33.3 million. Kanye, needing no invitation to fuel the fire, snapped back, "You're not taking an inch of my...well, you know." He demanded the network verify the numbers, reminding Piers of the impact his music has had on people's lives, from weddings to funerals.
Storming out mid-interview, Kanye scoffed, "I'm a gift. Why do you media types act like you haven't played my songs all your lives? That's ridiculous. We can chat again when you can count."

Sneako stepped in, trying to diffuse the situation. "That's it for Ye. He's got work to do, I reckon," he said, implying that Piers had pushed Kanye's buttons intentionally by referring to him as Kanye West instead of his preferred moniker, Ye.

When asked about Kanye's antisemitic remarks and support for Hitler, Sneako wiggled out, saying they were focused on helping Kanye realize his vision and did not want to delve into controversial topics.
Following Kanye's abrupt exit, Piers aired his frustration, calling Kanye a "whiny little coward, an antisemite, and a Hitler lover." He took to Instagram to share a picture of the uneasy exchange, captioning it, "I conducted another interview with Kanye West today. As I expected, given what I've said about him recently, it didn't last long and didn't go well. This was him, just before he stormed off like a big baby, before I could ask him why he's become a disgusting, Hitler-loving, Nazi-talking, antisemitic asshole." Kanye, in response, reposted the screenshot, simply writing, "BE REAL".

Interestingly enough, this wasn't the first time that Kanye and Piers locked horns. Back in 2022, on TalkTV, they had a lengthy, heated conversation that lasted over two hours before Kanye walked out mid-filming.
