Kano Government Censored Reason for Aminu Bichi's Dismissal Out of Politeness - Kano Government Rebukes Bichi over Corruption Allegations
Baffa Bichi, a former Secretary to the Kano State Government, has hurled explosive claims against the current administration, accusing it of massive corruption. Comparing this administration to the previous one under Abdullahi Ganduje, Bichi stated that the current corruption exceeds the supposed transgressions of the past regime tenfold.
"They have dusted all that Ganduje did wrong during his eight years, and in just two years, they've managed to do it ten times over."
In response to these allegations, the State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Waiya, expressed his dismay, labeling the charges as politically motivated and unfounded.
"We find these claims not only unfortunate but deeply misleading.
This administration is dedicated to transparency, accountability, and serving the people of Kano State. Comparing it to the previous government is an injustice and a disservice to Kano's citizens."

While addressing the claims, Waiya addressed the circumstances surrounding Bichi's exit from the government.
"Although we concealed the real reason for his removal due to respect for him, it must be known that his sack wasn't solely for health reasons."
