Kane's game has reached its conclusion.
In the latest round of Bundesliga action, Bayern Munich maintained their impressive form, while RB Leipzig and FSV Mainz 05 also recorded victories.
Kaishu Sano and Dominik Kohr scored for FSV Mainz 05 in their 4-1 away win against FC Augsburg. Kohr, who later received a yellow-red card, contributed to Mainz's victory before being sent off.
Bayern Munich, fresh from their 3-1 victory against FC Chelsea three days prior, faced Hoffenheim. Vincent Kompany, Bayern's coach, rested some key players, but Harry Kane still shone, scoring a hat-trick to secure a 4-1 victory for the newly formed squad. Kane's goals included two penalties, with Lennart Karl providing an assist for Kane's sixth goal of the season. Vladimir Coufal scored a consolation goal for Hoffenheim, deflecting off Joshua Kimmich and past Manuel Neuer, reducing the score to 1-3.
Elsewhere, RB Leipzig secured their third consecutive win with a 3-1 victory against 1. FC Cologne. Assan Ouedraogo, Romulo, and David Raum scored for Leipzig, with Jan Thielmann scoring for Cologne in response.
SC Freiburg demonstrated their upward momentum with a 3-0 victory against Werder Bremen. Vincenzo Grifo scored a penalty for Freiburg, followed by a goal from Junior Adamu and an own goal by Karim Coulibaly. Romano Schmid missed a penalty for Bremen, their best chance to equalize.
Hamburg SV celebrated their first goals and first win since returning to the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory against 1. FC Heidenheim. Luka Vuskovic scored the first goal for Hamburg, followed by another goal from Rayan Philippe, giving Hamburg a 2-0 lead. Adam Koelle scored a late consolation goal for Heidenheim, but it came too late to affect the final score.
In an attempt to turn the match around, Sandro Wagner, coach of FC Augsburg, made four substitutions at halftime, but it was not enough to prevent a 4-1 defeat. Samuel Essende scored a late goal for Augsburg, but it was not enough to change the outcome of the game.
As a result of these results, Bayern Munich currently leads the Bundesliga table with 12 points and a goal difference of +15, making this the best start in the 62-year history of the German elite league.
