Kamchatka to Stage Inaugural Russian Tournament by VNO Center

First All-Russian Tournament of "The Path of the Warrior" Promotes Military-Patriotic Education

The Center of Military-Patriotic Education (CMP) is set to host its first All-Russian tournament, titled "The Path of the Warrior." This competitive event, scheduled for September in Yakutia, aims to foster military-patriotic education among young participants across Russia.

Purpose and Format

The tournament's purpose is multifaceted. It seeks to promote military-patriotic education, develop physical fitness and tactical skills, foster a sense of patriotism and readiness to serve the country, and provide a platform for young people from various regions to compete and learn from each other.

The tournament format includes a series of military-style challenges and competitions. Events may involve obstacle courses, tactical exercises, shooting simulations, and team strategy games. Participants compete individually and in teams, often representing their regional branches. The tournament is conducted under rules that simulate real military tasks, emphasizing discipline and teamwork.

Significance

The tournament acts as a nationwide platform to unify youth around patriotic and military values. It encourages healthy competition and camaraderie among participants from different parts of Russia. It also helps identify promising young individuals for further military or patriotic training programs and strengthens regional military-patriotic centers by showcasing their preparation and efforts.

Kamchatka Participants

The Kamchatka regional branch of the CMP will participate in the tournament with a team of ten cadets. Alexander Burkhovetskiy, head of the Kamchatka branch, has already started forming the team. The main goals of the games are to instill a sense of responsibility and duty, practice decision-making skills in extreme situations, and teach teamwork.

Each of the 21 branches of the Center will field a team of ten, totaling 210 participants. The participants will be divided into teams equipped with air reconnaissance and observation means, laser-tag assault rifles, sniper rifles, and strike FPV drones. The event has an educational, not a gaming, character.

The tournament presents cadets with a modeled combat situation with elements of uncertainty, stress factors, and limited resources to assess their level of preparation. It will also serve as an opportunity to evaluate the level of training of CMP cadets.

Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev announced the holding of the first All-Russian tournament of the Center of Military-Patriotic Education (CMP). The tournament, titled "The Path of the Warrior," will be a military-tactical competition. The goal of the tournament is to teach cadets tactical thinking, consideration of local terrain features, and combined use of all possible means of destroying the enemy.

Alexander Burkhovetskiy expressed hope for a worthy performance by the team representing Kamchatka in the tournament. The Kamchatka branch team for "The Path of the Warrior" tournament consists of eight boys and two girls. The tournament, taking place in September in Yakutia, is the largest in the history of the Center of Military-Patriotic Education.
