Kai Trump’s LPGA debut ends tough but marks a bold first step

Kai Trump, granddaughter of former US President Donald Trump, made her LPGA Tour debut at The Annika driven by Gainbridge, held at the Pelican Golf Club in Florida. Despite a challenging round, the high school senior gained valuable experience.

Playing on a sponsor exemption, Kai Trump's debut was marked by a score of 13-over 83. Her round included nine bogeys and two double bogeys, with no birdies. Despite the setback, the University of Miami recruit showed resilience, finishing last in the 108-player field.

Meanwhile, Haeran Ryu led the tournament with an impressive score of 6-under 64, setting the pace for the rest of the field.
