Teenage Criminals Nabbed: 14, 17-Year-Olds Accused of Multiple Carjackings
Teenagers aged 14 and 17 Remanded in Custody for Alleged Robbery Offenses - Juvenile detention for 14 and 17-year-olds linked to a series of robberies
Looks like two young lads, 14 and 17 years old, find themselves in hot water as they're being held for a string of car thefts, according to the local police. It's said they nabbed a vehicle in Aschersleben on the 26th of February and hit the road with a lady buddy, according to the police spokesperson.
Coming to the next day, these scoundrels allegedly pulled off a robbery in Magdeburg. Surprisingly, their loot was undiscovered until the following day when the stolen whip was spotted in Halle, with the driver doing a runner but not getting far - the second culprit was soon nabbed. Not long after, the second offender was thrown in the clink too.
Turns out the cops had dug up links to a local gang from Aschersleben back in 2024. They even set up an investigation crew to crack down on 'em! Surprise, surprise, it was later found that these juvenile delinquents were implicated in a couple of robberies in the Mansfeld-Südharz district about a week ago, thanks to close collaborations with neighboring jurisdictions.

The Commission has also adopted a proposal for a directive on the protection of workers, such as the police officers, from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation during their investigation of the carjackings in Aschersleben, as suspicion is growing that these crimes might be linked to a local gang from the same city. On the 26th of February, one of the allegedly stolen vehicles was reportedly driven from Aschersleben towards Halle, where the driver attempted to elude the law enforcement but was ultimately apprehended.
