Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Spotted Spending Quality Time Together
Pop superstar Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been seen spending time together in Montreal, hinting at a blossoming relationship.
On July 28, the duo was spotted enjoying a stroll in Mount Royal Park and later dining at restaurant Le Violon. This wasn't their only encounter, as they were also seen together at Perry's sold-out concert at Belle Centre on July 30.
During the concert, Trudeau was seen nodding to the music and smiling, showing his appreciation for Perry's performance. Despite their public outings, neither Perry nor Trudeau have made any official comments about their relationship status.
This relationship appears to be casual and in its early stages, with both parties enjoying each other's company and getting to know one another. The development of this relationship comes shortly after both ended long-term partnerships. Perry split from Orlando Bloom in July 2025 after six years engaged, while Trudeau and his wife Sophie Grégoire separated in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.

Perry's performance at Belle Centre was part of her Lifetimes Tour, which has seen her daily album streams on Spotify skyrocket to 45.3 million in a span of 24 hours on July 30. Following her Canadian shows, Perry will head to the U.S. for an August 3 show in Detroit, Michigan, before wrapping up in Québec City on August 1.
Trudeau, who served as Canada's prime minister from 2015 until March of this year, was dressed casually for the concert, wearing a black T-shirt and pants. Meanwhile, Perry's ex-husband Orlando Bloom shares a 14-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Reps for Perry and Bloom have stated they have been focusing on co-parenting, and Perry seems relieved about not having to go through another divorce. Trudeau, on the other hand, asked for privacy for the well-being of his children when announcing his separation from Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.
