The recent under-16 (U16) face-off between Erzgebirge Aue and FSV Zwickau turned south quickly, resulting in the match being axed. A gang of around 30 individuals, mostly clad in black and lilac balaclavas, stirred up the Zwickau fans' zone, according to the police report. Three 15-year-olds and one 19-year-old were left injured, with one needing hospital attention. The miscreants fled into the woods post-attack.
Erzgebirge Aue takes accountability
A 27-year-old suspect was detained by the authorities, believed to be one of the instigators of the violent attacks. The investigation continues to uncover the masterminds behind the disturbance of the peace. approximately 40 police officers were on duty, as per the statement.

The hosting club, FC Erzgebirge, has already apologized for the chaos and vehemently denounces the acts of violence, irrespective of any initial provocation. The club wishes the victims a swift recovery.
