Julia Koschitz Battles Alzheimer's in 'Das Vergessen' Amidst Challenging Weather
Actress Julia Koschitz is currently filming the ORF/ARD series 'Das Vergessen' in challenging weather conditions. The series, set in Upper Austria and Vienna, sees Koschitz playing a police officer battling early-onset Alzheimer's while searching for her missing niece.
Koschitz, who is Austrian, is delighted to speak her native language in the series. Her character hails from Upper Austria, specifically the Innviertel region. The series, written by Timo Lombeck, Marcel Kawentel, and Rebekka Reuber, and directed by Daniel Prohaska and Johanna Moder, is being filmed in various locations across Austria, including Vienna, from September until early December 2025.
The weather has posed some challenges during filming, with strong winds and cold weather expected later in November. However, Koschitz is not the only familiar face in the series. Martina Ebm plays her sister, adding a personal touch to the cast.
