In an unexpected turn of events, German politician Julia Klöckner and TV presenter Jörg Pilawa have confirmed their romantic relationship, following their respective separations from previous spouses in 2023 and 2022.
Jörg Pilawa, a well-known face in German entertainment television, was awarded the "Goldene Kamera" for his work earlier this year. He is also a father of four and has moderated shows such as "NDR Talk Show", "Frag doch mal die Maus", "Rette die Million", "Herzblatt", and "Das Quiz". Pilawa has also ventured into acting, appearing in the ARD evening series "Großstadtrevier" and in the "Tatort".
On the political front, Klöckner, the President of the Bundestag, has had an impressive career. She served as Federal Minister of Agriculture from 2018 to 2021 and became the federal treasurer of the CDU in 2022. Prior to her tenure as a minister, she served as the deputy federal chairwoman of the CDU for ten years. In March 2023, she was elected President of the Bundestag.
The couple reportedly met at a festival in Guldental, Klöckner's hometown, and have been seen together frequently. Their families have also met, with their friendship extending beyond the professional sphere.
