Jr NTR lashes out at an enthusiastic fan, threatening to depart after an interruption during the War 2 event
In the bustling city of Hyderabad, the pre-release event for the much-awaited action-thriller, War 2, was held with much fervour and excitement. The event was attended by thousands of fans, eager to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars.
Amidst the sea of excited fans, Jr NTR, one of the lead actors of the film, took the stage to address the crowd. However, his speech was momentarily disrupted by a fan who was being disruptive. Jr NTR, showing his insistence on respect and order, firmly asked the fan to be quiet, saying, "Brother, should I leave? What did I tell you? Stay quiet when I speak. It won't take me a second to put down the mic and leave the stage."
Despite the brief interruption, Jr NTR continued with his speech, expressing his gratitude to the producers and responding humbly to fans comparing him with Hrithik Roshan, who is also a part of War 2. Jr NTR, a seasoned actor with films like RRR, Aravinda Sametha, Temper, Janatha Garage, and Nannaku Prematho under his belt, shared that he had an enjoyable experience working with Hrithik Roshan.
Jr NTR went on to compare the dance steps in the Janaab-e-aali song from War 2 to those of Hrithik Roshan, stating that it wasn't a face-off but a complementary performance. He further expressed his admiration for Hrithik Roshan, believing him to be one of the greatest dancers in the country.
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, is set to release on August 14, 2025. The film has been in the news for its sensual shots featuring Kiara Advani, with the Censor Board asking the makers to trim certain shots.
As the release date approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting the foot-tapping chartbuster Janaab-e-aali and the electrifying performance of Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan in War 2. Jr NTR, in his humble demeanour, has asked fans to enjoy the song as a standalone piece, rather than comparing it to any other performance. He believes that such comparisons can mislead fans.
