Paul, a mother of three, has had children with Tate Paul and Dakota Mortensen. Her life has been the subject of the popular series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which is streaming with a Hulu subscription. In a recent interview on Call Her Daddy, Paul opened up about her personal life, an interview that was met with a joke from Joy Behar, a co-host on The View, who made a comment about Paul's multiple baby daddies.

Contestant Kalon McMahon was dismissed from Season 8 of The Bachelorette for referring to a lead's daughter as "baggage." It seems that Paul's past has not been without its own controversies. However, Alyssa Farah Griffin, a commentator, has refused to disparage Paul for her past, instead approving of ABC's casting decision for Paul.
