Journalist Tommy Robinson denies engaging in harassment of two media professionals
Tommy "Robbo" Yaxley-Lennon, infamous far-right activist, has slammed accusations of harassing two MailOnline journalists.
Stepping into the hot seat at Westminster Magistrates' Court, the 42-year-old stood accused of two counts of harassment, with a potential for violence looming. The offenses happened via his popular X social media account during the dog days of August 2024.
Under his birth name, Stephen, in true denial fashion, he pleaded not guilty to both charges during his appearance on June 5, 2025. The judge, Senior District Judge Paul Goldspring, gave him the nod for bail, with the big show in front of a jury set for July 3 at Southwark Crown Court.
Freshly released from a stint at HMP Woodhill this May after a reduced sentence for contempt of court, Tommy (or Robbo to his mates) has stirred up controversy again. In October 2024, he found himself back in the slammer due to breaching an injunction related to misleading claims about a Syrian refugee[1][5]. On top of that, he's got his hands full with an upcoming October 2026 trial, dealing with the alleged failure to provide his mobile phone PIN to Kent Police in July 2024[1].

Tommy Yaxley-Lennon, amidst his ongoing legal battles, has used his platform on the X social media account to comment on the harassment allegations, expressing his disagreement with the accusations. Amidst this heated general-news landscape, the politics of war and crime-and-justice continue to dominate the headlines, with Yaxley-Lennon's trial awaited at Southwark Crown Court in July, and his pending October 2026 trial looming as well.
