Josh Gad Haunts Disney Parks as Haunted Mansion Caretaker
Actor Josh Gad, known for his role as Olaf in Frozen, has taken on a new role at Disney Parks. Since October 1, he has been entertaining guests as the Haunted Mansion's caretaker, with many visitors recognizing him. This is just one of several theme park jobs Gad has undertaken at Disney Parks.
Gad's journey in Disney Parks began with roles like Jungle Cruise Skipper and Kilimanjaro Safari tour guide. His latest role, however, has him interacting with guests as the Haunted Mansion's caretaker. In a 2023 video, Gad walks through the attraction in costume, delivering the line 'I like cold hugs', a nod to his beloved character, Olaf.
During Halloween Time, the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland transforms with a 'Nightmare Before Christmas' overlay. However, this spooky addition was not present in the video featuring Gad as the caretaker.
Josh Gad's future theme park roles could include exciting positions like Imperial interrogator on Rise of the Resistance or Disney World Monorail driver. His current role as Haunted Mansion caretaker is just one of many ways he continues to delight Disney Parks guests. Halloween activities at Disney and Universal started in August, with October 1 marking the official start for many celebrations.
