Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope expect a baby boy after reconciliation
Actor Joey Lawrence and his wife Samantha Cope are expecting their second child together, a boy, nearly a year after Samantha filed for divorce. The couple, who met on the set of 'My Husband's Secret Brother' in 2020, married in 2022 and welcomed their first daughter, Dylan, in January 2023.
Lawrence, known for his roles in 'Blossom' and 'Socked In For Christmas', already has two daughters, Charleston and Liberty, from his previous marriage to Chandie Yawn-Newton. Rumours of an affair with his 'Socked In For Christmas' co-star Melina Alves surfaced in 2022, but Alves denied the allegations. Despite the challenges, Lawrence and Cope reconciled late last year and are now looking forward to the arrival of their first son.
The couple announced their happy news at the 20th anniversary episode of Dancing With The Stars, where Lawrence was a contestant in 2006. They got engaged in 2021 and tied the knot in May 2022. Samantha filed for divorce in August 2024, but the couple has since reunited and is preparing for their growing family.
