"I'm also training with the destroyed knee" - Jochen Schweizer faces complex knee surgery after 40-year-old prosthesis fails

Jochen Schweizer, the 68-year-old entrepreneur and adventurer, is set to undergo knee surgery on November 24. Despite his shattered knee causing knee pain, Schweizer continues daily gym sessions to prepare for the operation.

Schweizer's current knee prosthesis, which he has relied on since 1984, has broken and shifted by 45 degrees. The upcoming surgery in Munich will involve inserting long titanium rods into his upper and lower leg to anchor a new artificial knee.

Determined to attend the grand opening of his solar power project on January 21, Schweizer is prepared to be on crutches if necessary. Following the surgery, he has fully arranged his rehabilitation at Lake Thiersee, aiming to spend Christmas at home.

The search for information about Jochen Schweizer's planned knee operation has yielded no results. Despite the knee pain, Schweizer remains committed to his fitness routine and has made arrangements for his recovery. His determination to attend the solar power project's grand opening, even on crutches, showcases his resilience.
