Job postings containing the phrase "exclusively for slaves" were forbidden by the court decree
Rewritten Article:
In a bold step towards promoting inclusivity, Moscow courts have nixed job ads that stereotypically favor "Slavs" alone, as per reports by RIA Novosti. These discriminatory ads, with their nationality-based criteria, are now off the table.
Take, for instance, numerous job postings on VKontakte for construction workers and demolition teams, each carrying the divisive tagline, "Slavs only." The court's ruling made it crystal clear: discriminating against job applicants based on nationality is strictly illegal.
The crackdown extends beyond construction, with a cook-baker job posting also on the chopping block due to blatant nationalistic preferences. The nanny job market also saw its fair share of trouble, as openings requiring only Slavic looks were flagged. And even a commercial shoot looking for men of Slavic heritage faced the banhammer.
These decisions were made and enforced between February and March of 2025, effectively silencing the distribution of such discriminatory information.
