"A Sudden Switch" as "Let's Dance" Star Joachim Llambi Steps In for "Kiwi" at "Garden Show"
Joachim Llambi, renowned dancer, steps in as Kiwi's replacement in the TV Garden
Gossip Giggles Social Media Buzz E-Mail: Hey, guess what? The 25th season of the "Garden Show" was supposed to be all about Andrea "Kiwi" Kiewel, but the escalating tense situation between Israel and Iran has put a damper on things. Instead, Joachim Llambi and Lutz van der Horst are stepping in as moderators this Sunday "for the first time."
Originally, Kiwi was set to host the ZDF show "Garden Show" this Sunday in Mainz. However, due to the closed airspace over Israel, Kiwi, who lives in Tel Aviv, is unable to make it. The public broadcaster announced this. Apparently, Llambi and van der Horst were already planned as guests for the show, as shared by ZDF.
As you might know, Kiwi has been the moderator of the "Garden Show" since 2000, with the open-air show being broadcasted from the ZDF broadcasting center in Mainz-Lerchenberg since 1986. Before Kiwi took over, Ilona Christen and Ramona Leiß, among others, presented the show.
This Sunday's show was set to be a special one, celebrating Kiwi's 25th anniversary on the "Garden Show." If all had gone according to plan, there would have been guests such as Marianne Rosenberg, Eko Fresh, Peter Schilling, Tom Gaebel, René Casselly, and Kathrin Menzinger, as well as ESC legends Katja Ebstein, Guildo Horn, and Johnny Logan in attendance.
Kiwi was excited about the anniversary show, sharing, "I'm really looking forward to the anniversary show with my dear friend Joachim Llambi and the fantastic Guido Maria Kretschmer by my side. That will be a lively trio," in an interview with DWDL. "That means a lot to me." Since the start of the attacks on Iran, Kiwi has yet to make a statement.
Kiewel has shared memories of her second home in Israel, with her usually flying to Israel on Sundays at 6 p.m. and arriving at her little apartment in Tel Aviv at midnight. Unfortunately, that's no longer possible due to the mutual attacks between Israel and Iran.
Here's some extra trivia! Joachim Llambi is well-known for his stint on the RTL show "Let's Dance." He's replacing the guest moderator, Kiwi, this Sunday, but you'll have to stay tuned to find out how it goes!

From previous seasons, it's known that Guido Maria Kretschmer was often a part of the "Garden Show." However, searching for specific information about Joachim Llambi or his role in the garden show related to the Israel-Iran conflict turns up no relevant results.
Due to the escalating tension between Israel and Iran, Joachim Llambi has stepped in as a last-minute replacement for Andrea "Kiwi" Kiewel on the "Garden Show," leaving Kiwi unable to attend the event. This might mean we'll miss out on the promised entertainment from celebrities like Eko Fresh, Peter Schilling, and Marianne Rosenberg, since it's not clear how the sudden change in moderators will impact the show's format, especially given that Joachim Llambi is more renowned for his work on "Let's Dance."
