"Joachim Llambi from 'Let's Dance' takes over hosting duties on 'TV Garden' previously occupied by 'Kiwi'"

Get ready for a change in the Gardening Show's lineup! Due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, Andrea "Kiwi" Kiewel, the beloved moderator, won't be hosting this Sunday's show as planned. Instead, Joachim Llambi and Lutz van der Horst will take the reins, according to ZDF.

Originally, this Sunday would mark Kiwi's 25th season anniversary on the air. The open-air show at the ZDF broadcast center in Mainz-Lerchenberg has been running since 1986, and Kiwi took over the moderation in 2000.

Although Llambi is a regular juror on the RTL show "Let's Dance," and van der Horst hails from the "heute-show," they were already set to be guests on the show. This unexpected turn of events means they stepped up to help out.

This week's show is themed around Kiwi's 25th anniversary, and several notable guests were expected to attend, including Marianne Rosenberg, Eko Fresh, Peter Schilling, Tom Gaebel, René Casselly, Kathrin Menzinger, Katja Ebstein, Guildo Horn, and Johnny Logan.

Kiwi, who once described her Tel Aviv apartment as her "second home" during the Garden Show season, expressed her anticipation for the anniversary show in an interview with DWDL. Yet, since the conflict began, she has remained silent.

As the conflict between Israel and Iran escalates, airspace closures have wreaked havoc on international travel. Unfortunately, this situation forced Kiwi to miss her own anniversary celebration this year.

I'm not going to be able to do this entertainment event on Sunday due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. The upcoming Gardening Show, themed around my 25th anniversary, will now be hosted by Joachim Llambi and Lutz van der Horst.
