Jimi Blue Oxenknecht's trial scheduled for August 22.
Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, the popular German actor and son of Uwe Ochsenknecht and his former wife Natascha, is set to stand trial on August 22, 2022, in Innsbruck, Austria. The trial is related to an unpaid hotel bill of approximately 14,000 euros that was incurred during his birthday celebration in late 2021.
Ochsenknecht has been living with his sister Cheyenne in Austria since the incident. The fraud allegation stems from the non-payment of the hotel bill, despite repeated reminders, offers of installment plans, and court proceedings. An international arrest warrant was issued against Ochsenknecht, leading to his provisional arrest at Hamburg Airport at the end of June.
The actor was extradited to Innsbruck in early July after a multi-day journey with stopovers. During his detention, Ochsenknecht publicly acknowledged his mistakes via Instagram, and his ex-partner Yeliz Koc paid off the outstanding hotel bill for him. Ochsenknecht has since been released on bail.
The trial is expected to last about an hour at Innsbruck Regional Court. During the trial, Ochsenknecht told the judge that he would take responsibility for the matter. The exact details about the court trial and final judgment are not yet available.
It's worth noting that the legal issue started in 2021, with the unpaid hotel bill, followed by arrest and extradition proceedings in mid-2025. The case involves accusations of serious fraud due to non-payment despite court orders.
Meanwhile, production for the second part of the fourth season of "Diese Ochsenknechts," a popular German TV series featuring the Ochsenknecht family, began in March and is set to continue until September. The arrest and extradition of Ochsenknecht will also be a topic in the family's TV series.
