Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, a well-known German actor, is set to appear in court in Austria on August 22, facing charges related to an unpaid hotel bill amounting to approximately €14,000. The trial will take place at the Regional Court of Innsbruck.

The controversy stems from a stay at a hotel in Tyrol, Austria, in 2021, which was reportedly for several days to celebrate a birthday. Despite repeated reminders, offers of installment payments, and court proceedings, the bill was not paid, leading to accusations of serious fraud.

The actor was arrested in late June 2025 at Hamburg Airport based on a European arrest warrant issued by Austria. He was extradited to Austria in July to face legal proceedings and was transferred to Innsbruck via a multi-day transport with stopovers, where he was released on bail.

During the court appearance, Ochsenknecht reportedly told the judge that he would take responsibility for the matter but did not make any statements about the suspicion.

It's worth noting that this isn't the only financial dispute involving Ochsenknecht. There is a new accusation from 2021 concerning an unpaid restaurant bill of €1,900 at Miss Cho in Graz. The restaurant sent the bill to his address, but it remains unpaid, leading to a criminal complaint filed by the restaurant owner with prosecutors in Graz and Braunschweig.

Despite these legal issues, filming for the second part of the fourth season of "Diese Ochsenknechts" has started in March and is expected to continue until September. The actor's arrest and extradition to Austria are likely to be a topic in the series.

Interestingly, Ochsenknecht is currently living with his sister Cheyenne in Austria, as mentioned in an interview during a podcast recording on RTL.
