Jets' Ukrainian Heritage Night returns Jan. 6, 2026
The Winnipeg Jets will hold their second annual Ukrainian Heritage Night on January 6, 2026. The event will honour Manitoba’s Ukrainian community with traditional dance, live music, and cultural displays throughout the game.
Fans can expect performances from Rusalka Ukrainian Dance before the match and during intermissions. The group will showcase traditional routines on the ice. Meanwhile, the band Zrada will take the in-bowl stage, blending modern sounds with Ukrainian folk music.
Special merchandise featuring the Ukrainian Heritage logo is now on sale. Items are available at Jets Gear stores and online at truenorthshop.com. Additionally, the Ukrainian Kyiv pavilion’s trident symbol will be displayed prominently during the event. An online auction for autographed team-issued Winnipeg Jets Ukrainian Heritage jerseys runs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CT on January 6. Bidding opens at tnyfauction.ca, with all proceeds supporting grassroots and cultural projects in the local Ukrainian community. Tickets for the game remain available for purchase at winnipegjets.com/tickets.
The evening will combine hockey with a celebration of Ukrainian traditions. Funds raised from the jersey auction will directly benefit community programmes. Organisers have planned a mix of entertainment and cultural tributes for attendees.
