Jeremi Shardi Meets Up with Alexander Bublik
Jeremy Chardy and Alexander Bublik, two seasoned tennis professionals, are set to compete in the upcoming Monte Carlo Championship. Currently, Chardy is ranked 52nd in the ATP rankings, while Bublik holds the 42nd spot.
In the ongoing season, Chardy has shown impressive form, winning 14 out of 21 matches. He has reached the quarterfinals in Rotterdam and Dubai at the start of the spring tour, and even made it to the semifinals in Antalya and Melbourne during the winter. However, his recent outing in the Miami tournament ended in the first round, where he lost to American Denis Kudla.
Chardy, who prefers clay courts, is expected to capitalize on his preferred surface in Monte Carlo. He aims to take revenge on Sasha (Jannik Sinner) in the tournament, having lost to him in the Miami quarterfinals.
Bublik, on the other hand, has won 15 out of 23 matches this season, reaching the final in Singapore but unfortunately losing. His form was disrupted earlier in the year when he had to retire from the final in Antalya due to injury. In the Miami tournament, he lost to Sinner in the quarterfinals.
Bublik, who favours hard courts, will be looking to make a strong comeback in Monte Carlo. The player who defeated Chardy in their previous meeting at the beginning of the season is not specified, adding an element of uncertainty to their upcoming clash.
As the Monte Carlo Championship approaches, both players are eager to claim victory and improve their ATP rankings. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting matchup.
